Online lectures at HEFAT 2021

Bayreuth, 28.07.2021

This year, the "15th International Conference on Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics (HEFAT) and Editorial Board of Applied Thermal Engineering (ATE) 2021" took place as an online conference from July 25th to 28th, 2021. Representatives from research and industry presented new scientific results and findings in the field of evaporation and condensation in more than 400 papers. The spectrum included experimental work as well as numerical and empirical modeling.

For ZET and LTTT, staff members Osama Aljolani, M. Sc. and Zlatan Arnautovic, M.Sc. presented results of their work.

Osama Aljolani gave a talk on the topic " Exergetic analysis of an air conditioning system for residential applications in Europe based on CO2 as a working fluid". This research work is funded by the Bavarian State Ministry for the Environment and Consumer Protection.

Zlatan Arnautovic presented a joint paper with his colleague Conrad Zimmermann, M.Sc. from the Institute of Thermodynamics, Leibniz Universität Hannover on "New prediction method of mixture condensation heat transfer based on precise measurement of vapor-liquid equilibria of siloxane mixtures". Funding for this research is provided by the DFG grant for two thematically linked projects.
