In 2025, Upper Franconia will be all about energy. The Center of Energy Technology at the University of Bayreuth, under the direction of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Brüggemann, Chair of Engineering Thermodynamics and Transport Processes (LTTT), is in charge of implementing the theme year under the heading “Energy Future Upper Franconia - Regional, Innovative, Economic”. The aim is to bring together the various players in the field of energy and to promote intersectoral exchange and networking.
