The LTTT welcomes Saquib Anjum and Jenny Morisho as new employees in the Optical Metrology and Engines Research Area.

The research project deals with the development of a novel inline measurement system for analyzing metallic abrasion in lubricating oil circuits in order to detect and observe damage mechanisms at an early stage. The focus here is on the development, characterization and validation of the measurement system based on laser-induced plasma spectroscopy on a laboratory scale.

This research is funded by the BMWK's ZIM program.
