On May 6th 2025, Jaromir Jeßberger visited Roche as part of the “heat-climate-friendly” research project together with Ms. Lasch, Ms. Briese and colleagues from the Landesamt für Umwelt (LFU) (State Office for the Environment) and the partner project.

The focus of the meeting was a guided tour of an innovative, F-gas-free refrigeration system at the site. The plant is an example of how modern industrial refrigeration technology can be implemented without fluorinated refrigerants - a key component for climate-friendly heating systems of the future.

The exchange offered valuable insights into the practical implementation of alternative refrigeration technologies and promoted networking between research, authorities and industry.
