On May 15th 2025, Jaromir Jeßberger took part in the 2nd workshop “Industrial and large heat pumps” in Berlin. The event was organized by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWE), the Project Management Jülich (PTJ) and the Energy Research Networks.

The focus was on current developments, practical examples and research approaches for the use of large-scale heat pump systems in industrial applications and heating networks. In presentations and workshops, experts from science, industry and politics discussed the opportunities, challenges and necessary framework conditions for the broad implementation of this key technology.

The event provided valuable inspiration for the participants' own research work and a good platform for professional exchange with relevant experts in the field of climate-friendly heat generation.
