Keynote speech: Dr.-Ing. Florian Heberle

The renowned Heat Powered Cycle Conference took place in Lisbon from May 26th to 28th, 2025. It is a traditional event for experts from the fields of heat pump technology, refrigeration, thermodynamics and heat transfer.

The conference offered a platform for intensive discussions, the exchange of the latest research findings and the opportunity to establish numerous international contacts.

EA particular highlight was the keynote speech by Dr.-Ing. Florian Heberle (LTTT), whose presentation on “Surface Technologies for Deep Geothermal Systems” provided valuable insights into the further development of geothermal energy systems.

The event once again underlined the relevance of sustainable energy solutions and the importance of interdisciplinary cooperation for the decarbonization of the energy industry.
