At the “8th International Seminar on ORC Power Systems (ORC 2025)” in Lappeenranta (Finland), the Chair of Technical Thermodynamics and Transport Processes (LTTT) presented current research findings in the field of high-temperature heat pumps. The focus was on the experimental optimization of partial load behavior and the use of ORC fluids in HTWP systems.

In addition, initial findings from the collaboration with TGM Kanis Turbinen GmbH on the dynamic simulation of an ORC system for waste heat utilization were presented. Furthermore, the LTTT presented the joint project with OST – Eastern Switzerland University of Applied Sciences, in which an interactive platform for visualizing and analyzing the efficiency of heat pumps was developed:
