This year's Thermodynamics Colloquium took place at Hamburg University of Technology from September 22nd to 24th 2025. Once again, the event provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange on current issues in thermodynamics and energy technology.
LTTT was represented with one presentation and two poster contributions:
• Presentation: Chris Burkel presented current research findings on dynamic CO2 allocation for coupled energy systems.
• Poster contribution: Julian Gundelwein showed initial findings from the dynamic simulation of an ORC system for waste heat recovery.
• Poster presentation: Jenny Morisho presented his research on LIBS-based detection of metal particles in lubricating oils for condition assessment of thermally stressed systems.
We look forward to the next event in Dortmund in 2026 and would like to thank the organizers at TUHH for a successful conference!
