On October 14, 2026, Dr.-Ing. Jaromir Jeßberger successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Thermodynamic Evaluation of High-Temperature Heat Pumps and Their Integration into Geothermal Energy Systems.”

The examination committee, consisting of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dieter Brüggemann (first reviewer), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas (second reviewer, TU Dresden), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Perić (additional examiner), and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Tremmel (chair of the examination committee), acknowledged the outstanding scientific achievements of Dr.-Ing. Jeßberger.

Jeßberger on this significant success and are delighted that he will continue to contribute to the Center for Energy Technology (ZET) and the Chair of Engineering Thermodynamics and Transport Processes (LTTT).
